Boston, MA – September 9, 2025 – Momentum Enterprises and Boston College Football are partnering with Hope & Comfort Hygiene Hub to fight hygiene insecurity in Massachusetts through a new initiative, Launch Points.
For every kick the Boston College Eagles send through the uprights this season, Momentum will donate $300 to Hope & Comfort Hygiene Hub, the state’s leading nonprofit dedicated to ending hygiene insecurity. Each successful kick transforms a game-day moment into real impact for families who cannot afford basic hygiene products like soap, toothpaste, and menstrual supplies.
The program kicked off with a powerful start during the season’s opening game, raising $3,000, enough to provide a year’s worth of hygiene products to 60 people across Massachusetts.
“Momentum is proud to support families in our community through Hope & Comfort while cheering on the Eagles,” said Ryan Debin, CEO of Momentum Enterprises, Board Member of Hope & Comfort, and proud Boston College alum, Class of 2000. “Hygiene insecurity is often overlooked, but it has serious consequences for health, dignity, and opportunity. We’re excited to connect sports fans to a cause that matters deeply.”
Hygiene insecurity affects 2.3 million people in Massachusetts, impacting school attendance, workforce participation, and self-confidence. Many families must make difficult choices between food, housing, and hygiene products, especially because SNAP benefits do not cover these essentials.
“As a Boston College alum, this partnership is especially meaningful to me,” said Kerry Carter, CEO of Hope & Comfort, Class of 1988. “By tying every extra point to direct action, we are turning moments of celebration into real change for families. Together, we can make hygiene insecurity visible and solvable.”
The partnership will run throughout the football season, with game-day updates shared on social media and a final check presentation celebration planned for later this fall. Hope & Comfort will also feature Momentum Enterprises as a key sponsor during its upcoming Hygiene Insecurity Awareness Week in October, further amplifying the impact.
Fans and supporters can follow along using #LaunchPoints, #WeAreBC, and #HygieneForAll, and cheer on the Eagles knowing every extra point scored makes a difference for families across the state.
